From May 15th to June 10th, 2025, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit will dress up to celebrate the 21st edition of Restaurant Week by Vallarta Lifestyles, an event that has become synonymous with accessible gastronomy and the promotion of local cuisine. This year, 51 restaurants will participate in this exquisite journey of flavors that, since 2005, has captivated both residents and visitors. 

What began as an initiative inspired by gastronomic events in cities like New York and London is now a consolidated tradition that positions our region as a true gourmet destination. The premise is simple, yet powerful: to bring haute cuisine closer to a wider audience, especially during a month that was historically considered to have low tourist influx. However, after more than two decades of uninterrupted celebration, May has transformed into a highly anticipated month for food lovers.

A JOURNEY THROUGH THE HISTORY OF RESTAURANT WEEK
Since its first edition in 2005, held from May 15th to 31st, Restaurant Week has experienced constant growth. Its positive impact has been such that, in 2018, the event’s duration was extended by ten more days to meet the increasing demand from diners. Since then, the festival has been held for 27 days, offering greater opportunities to taste and discover new culinary proposals.

Throughout its editions, the number of participating restaurants has varied, reaching its peak in 2019 with a record of 62 establishments. This 2025, the figure of 51 participants reaffirms the festival’s relevance as a platform for new and established restaurants to present their special menus at fixed and accessible prices.

THREE-COURSE MENUS WITH THREE OPTIONS EACH AND THREE PRICE POINTS
The mechanics of Restaurant Week remain as attractive as they were from the beginning: three-course menus (appetizer, main course, and dessert), with three options per category, to choose from prices of 495, 575, or 690 pesos per person. These rates do not include beverages or tips, allowing diners to customize their experience according to their preferences.

The culinary offerings range from contemporary Mexican cuisine to international fusions, including Greek, French, Eastern, Austrian, Spanish specialties, fine cuts, and seafood delicacies. Without a doubt, a unique opportunity to explore new flavors and rediscover classic dishes reinterpreted by some of the region’s most creative chefs.
